Wool Price OutlookWool prices kept climbing to new record highs in April and May as strong demand from China confronted supply-side bottlenecks among Australian producers. On 11 May, wool traded at AUD 1,891 cents per kilogram. The print was 7.2% higher than on the same day last month and was up 7.4% on a year-to-date basis. Moreover, the price was 23.3% higher than on the same day last year.
