Wool Price Outlook

The strong momentum in the wool market continued in the first days of February. A weaker AUD, coupled with strong demand from China, helped buyers to push up wool prices in recent days. On 9 February, wool traded at AUD 1,818 cents per kilogram. The print was 2.9% higher than on the same day last month and was up 3.3% on a year-to-date basis. However, the price was 26.5% higher than on the same day last year.
