Interest Rate in Bolivia

Bolivia Interest Rate | Economic News & Forecasts

Bolivia - Interest Rate

Available data points to a continuation of healthy economic activity, following a solid first quarter expansion that was driven by resilient private consumption and a strong rebound in exports. Remittance inflows continued to rise at a healthy pace through June, with the bulk coming from Spain and the United States. This likely lent support to household incomes, which, coupled with relatively low inflation, bodes well for consumer spending in the second quarter. On the external front, merchandise exports grew by nearly a fifth in January–July, chiefly on the back of higher shipments of natural gas and oil, which contributed to a notable reduction in the year-to-date trade deficit.
