Consumer prices fell 0.1% from a month earlier in November, following a 0.7% month-on-month rise in October. According to the Statistical Institute, lower transport prices as well as lower food prices drove the outturn.
Inflation fell to 3.1% from 3.7% in October. Despite this, annual average inflation was stable from a month earlier at 2.8%.
