Cocoa Price OutlookPrices increased in July after falling in June. This came as Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana, the two countries that supply 60% of the world’s cocoa, took steps in recent weeks to increase production coordination. On 6 July, the spot price was USD 2,428 per metric ton, which was 4.6% higher than on the same day last month. Furthermore, the price was up 27.8% on a year-to-date basis, and it was 22.7% higher than on the same day last year.
